I’m a Canadian venture operator and strategist, endlessly curious and always building. That curiosity has led me to co-create Get Checkered, launch the policy coalition EACH+EVERY, and co-found Bessie Box, a grocery startup that scaled to $1M+ before its acquisition. I’ve supported founders through Yale Ventures, Platform Calgary, and Elevate, helping early-stage teams grow and fundraise. Believe it or not, my first management role was running a decades-old film festival in my hometown.

I don’t believe in fitting neatly into a box—on my Substack I write about policy, startups, and film—and I’m a strong advocate for representation in startup ecosystems. I’ve also spoken at global stages including the UN Human Rights Council on human rights, and at The Globe and Mail and Inventures on entrepreneurship and building inclusive communities for founders.
