(ON HIATUS)

Get Checkered started as a passion project and quickly became a platform to explore the intersections of business, media, and motorsport through a gendered lens. What began as a podcast and content series evolved into a community of women and nonbinary fans who weren’t just watching F1 for the drama. We were dissecting race strategy like business models, analyzing media rights like case studies, and having smart, irreverent conversations about marketing, ambition, and visibility in male-dominated spaces. As a co-creator and co-producer, I contributed both behind the scenes and on the mic—shaping topics, building partnerships, and growing our reach.

The show was proudly part of the Alberta Podcast Network, and it was featured in a CBC article exploring the broader cultural impact of Drive to Survive. For me, Get Checkered isn’t just about fandom. It’s about proving that niche, well-crafted content can create outsized influence when it reflects the curiosity and intelligence of its audience.
